Des ailes pour découvrir Ressource éducative pour la maternelle
Three learning units and the companion teacher guide from Wings of Discovery’s Kindergarten Resource are now available in French! Available projects include:

Teacher Guide coverWeather Watchers
In this Learning Unit, students will investigate one aspect of Earth sciences — weather. They will develop their understanding of weather by exploring the more obvious aspects of weather — air temperature, cloud cover, precipitation and wind – using student-made and commercial measuring devices.

Patterns in Time
In this Learning Unit, students will investigate seasonal patterns in the physical and biological world. They will develop their understanding of seasonal patterns by exploring how plants, animals and people adapt to the seasons.

Insect Investigators
In this Learning Unit, students will investigate insects as living things. They will develop their understanding of insects by observing, exploring live insects in their natural habitats, as well as role-playing insect behaviour.
